Training: 10 tips to reach your goals

Maximize your training time with the help of these 10 tips that will help you reach your goals and get real results.

1. Be efficient

No matter what physical activity you choose, be strategic and effective. Minimize your preparation and travel time, and maximize the time you spend on the move. To do this, reduce the minutes allowed to go from point A to point B, change quickly, and have a plan of what you will do for a workout (improvise as little as possible!). Don't hang out in the shower afterwards either. You have to make sure that in the end, you will have spent more time moving than being in transition between what you did before, and what you will do after activating.

2.Have a clear plan for your training.

Think about what you are going to do for an exercise. If it's strength training, know which muscles you want to work. If it's cardio, know which machines you'll be using or which DVD (fitness capsule, apps, games, etc.) you'll be watching. Waste of time, no matter how small, can have a huge impact on your performance and motivation.

3 .Take a personal trainer or a life coach

To help you stay motivated, and to have a safe training program specific to your needs, hire a trainer. Some prefer to consult their coach on a regular basis while others will be content to make an appointment with him during changes of season or when they wish to vary their sequence of movement.

4 .Vary your training

To help keep you motivated, change your exercise routine often. In addition to helping you maintain your good healthy lifestyle habits, this approach will prevent you from peaking, and by doing so, from constantly surpassing yourself. In doing so, you will achieve your most unattainable goals.

5. Stay informed

Take the time to educate yourself and learn more about the sport you play. Pick up books at the library, read a book at the bookstore, subscribe to a fitness magazine, and more. Anyway is a good idea to stay informed about the sport you are investing your time and money in.

6. Write down your goals

Keep a journal, and be precise and detailed about what information you write down. Although you are not in the process of preparing for the Olympics, take this exercise seriously. Set clear, measurable goals specific to your needs.

7. Document your journey (supporting photos)

In the age of the selfie , don't hesitate to take photos since the concrete evidence of your evolution, or even your progress, will speak for itself. It's so easy to forget where you started from, so seeing how far you've come will play a crucial role in your motivation level. And over time, you will even enjoy posing for the camera, and you will want to share your journey with those around you and your virtual friends.

8. Leave room for inspiration

Inspiration can come from anywhere: from TV shows, movies, books, podcast , not to mention music, a great source of inspiration that will motivate you to perform at your best in your workouts. Your loved ones, certain public figures that you admire, as well as your idols can also in one way or another help you to stay motivated.

9. Choose a sport you like

The easiest way to strive for concrete goals is to play a sport you love. Because by doing what we love, we don't count the time. We invest, and things move forward naturally. We become good, we gain confidence and the body changes (provided, of course, that diet and healthy lifestyle are part of it).

10. Limit distractions

Don't let distractions distract you. When you are in training mode, leave everything aside momentarily so that you can concentrate on the task at hand. If you decide to do two things at the same time, such as reading a magazine while riding a bike, make sure that this combination does not affect the quality of your workout. Give yourself 100% so you don't get left with the feeling that you could have done more. Post-workout endorphins are euphoric, and you shouldn't do without them!

Do not be afraid! The results will come with time and hard work. It's just a matter of persevering. Just keep in mind that with constant effort, progress, however slow, will occur. And please, enjoy the process, because this is not a sprint, but a long race.
